Friday, April 30th deadlines:

• The registration deadline for TARGET Your Treatment in Chesterton, IL May 21-22, 2010.
• The registration deadline for Clinical Assessment & Practical Interventions for Praxis: From Ideation to Execution in Baltimore, MD May 21-22, 2010.
• Early Bird registration deadlines for Clinical Reasoning and Treatment Planning for Praxis Intervention June 10, 2010 and Goal Attainment Scaling as a Meaningful Outcome Measure for Sensory Integration: A Training Program June 11, 2010 in Ronkonkoma, NY (Long Island). (Save $15/day off the main tuition.)
• Super Saver registration deadline for Gravity & Movement Challenged: The Sensory-Motor-Triad in Rochester, MN June 25-26, 2010. (Save $30 off the main tuition.)

Sadly, we have had to cancel the Gravity & Movement Challenged scheduled for Baton Rouge, LA May 14-15, 2010. We are hoping to reschedule this course for later in the year, and any suggestions you can offer would be appreciated.

Mistakes do happen

It seems I had the wrong date in the e-mails sent out for the Essentials of Praxis Intervention for Children with Autism coming to Charleston, IL. The correct date is Friday, June 4, 2010.


I apologize for any inconvenience my error may have caused. And thank you to Laura for pointing it out to me.

Announcements

Ah, Mondays! The start of a new week just seems the perfect time to get a few housekeeping things out of the way.


But first, a big THANK YOU to those of you who stopped by to see Cindy at the MN APTA's Move Forward event. She enjoyed meeting all of you.


Speaking of PTs, the Gravity & Movement Challenged held in College Station, TX March 12-13, 2010 and coming to Dallas, TX November 12-13, 2010 have been approved by the TX APTA, #47175A.


Registration deadlines on April 23:

• Gravity & Movement Challenged: The Sensory-Motor-Vestibular Triad May 14-15, 2010 in Baton Rouge, LA is currently $395. Tuition will be $420 after Friday.
• Essentials of Praxis Intervention for Children with Autism June 4, 2010 in Charleston, IL is currently $195. Tuition will be $210 after Friday.

Eileen & Patricia had a great time with those of you at the MORE: Integrating the Mouth with Sensory & Postural Function this weekend in Oklahoma City, OK. We hope to see all of you again!

One thing great about having been in the business for 30 years is the connections we've made. For the last 13 years I've personally sat at registration tables all over the country witnessing school friends reconnecting, mentors running into their former students unexpectedly, and new friendships being made. Not to mention the faces that become familiar as I return to administer another course in the area.


We here at Professional Development Programs & Products - Lori, Cindy, Corrine, Linda, Silvia, Amber and Alexis - want to continue that feeling of community, even when we happen to be here in Stillwater and you happen to be where you call home. We started a Facebook page and opened a Twitter account last year. Now we're starting this blog.


Yes, we want to help get the word out about our one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge continuing education courses and what's new in Products. We also want to make it easier to reach out to all of you, and for you to reach out to each other. Keep your eyes open for announcements of special deals, new course listings, featured products, but also for guest blogs and Q&As with our speakers. 


We hope to see you in the comments. Feel free to make suggestions of products you think we should be carrying, and topics and speakers you'd like to see. And anything else that crosses your mind. Without you and your support, we wouldn't have survived these past 30 years. And we are grateful.
